Read this before purchasing your ticket.
Here’s some really important information about the tickets and our open days 🙂
Online tickets are essential – this is the ONLY way to get a tree in 2019.
One ticket per tree. Each person can purchase more than one ticket by restarting the sales process after each successful purchase.
YOU MUST BRING YOUR TICKET/S TO THE FARM GATE.
Tickets are $20 + booking fee (approx. $2). At the farm gate your ticket price ($20) will be taken off the price of your Christmas tree.
Trees are $10 per foot, starting at $40 for 4ft tree, $50 for a 5 foot tree, etc. All pricing includes GST. Measuring sticks are available at farm. More info about pricing at http://richmondchristmastreefarm.com.au/
Some Christmas trees will be marked at 50% off. These will be marked with a red painted lower trunk.
Every tree is different. Visitors to the farm are likely to choose the best trees first, so although your ticket guarantees you a tree, those with Sunday afternoon tickets MUST BE AWARE THAT THERE WILL BE LIMITED CHOICE later in the weekend.
VISITING THE FARM
The time slot you have chosen will allow you in the farm gate FROM that time. This means you can come on the Open Day your ticket specifies, or if you can’t make it that day, you’re welcome to come any time after that time – even the following weekend!
You’re welcome to spend time at the market before and after you choose your tree.
If the forecast is for really wet weather, Richmond Christmas Tree Farm retains the right to POSTPONE the open days until the following weekend without refunding tickets. In this case, the market may or may not be open as planned. Time slots will remain the same. And correspondence will be made via email with new information. Updates about closing the farm due to weather events will also be published to our Facebook page.
There will be NO REFUNDS. If you can’t make it along to the farm, or change your mind, you’re welcome to pass your ticket to a friend or family member. Remind them to bring the ticket with them to the farm. Also there will be no refund if you do not find a tree you want, please read ‘TREE QUALITY’ above for more information, especially if you are purchasing a Sunday afternoon ticket.
TAGGING A TREE?
You can choose a tree to pick up later in December, on our collection days. A farm helper will put a tag and ribbon on your tree for you.
TAKING A TREE?
You can take your tree on the day. It will last for a least 6 week in water with the proper care (Care instructions online or at the farm). Bring tie downs, and/or a tarp to keep sap out of your car.
CHANGE YOUR MIND ON THE DAY ABOUT TAGGING OR TAKING?
If you have chosen to tag a tree, you can change your mind on the day and take it home then, or vice versa.
Open days: Saturday 30th November and Sunday 1st December 2019, 10am – 2pm.
Collection days: every Saturday and Sunday in December until Christmas, 10am – 2pm, to pick up your tagged trees.
