Tickets & trees have now SOLD OUT.
We apologise to those who missed out this year. We’re working hard to grow more trees as fast as we can!
The Gist…
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, things will be a little bit different at the farm in 2020.
Visitors to the farm will buy a ticket for one of seven days during November and December, to choose and take their Christmas tree home on that day. Tickets will be released mid November.
The idea is to spread out the crowds over the whole of December, instead of having one big busy open day and market. And there will be NO TAGGING/RESERVING trees in 2020, unfortunately.
It’ll be simpler and more relaxed… sound like pretty good way to start Christmas?
Tickets…
Sunday 29th November – SOLD OUT
Saturday 5th December – SOLD OUT
Sunday 6th December – SOLD OUT
Saturday 12th December – SOLD OUT
Sunday 13th December – SOLD OUT
Saturday 19th December – SOLD OUT
Sunday 20th December – SOLD OUT
Important things to know…
- There will be NO TAGGING/RESERVING to secure a tree this year. The day you choose to buy a ticket for, is the day you’ll take your tree home.
- The farm will be open from 10am – 2pm on the days list above.
- It’s imperative that you come on the day you have bought your ticket for (this helps us stick to the Covid-19 restrictions.)
- If you can’t come on that day, please get in contact.
- One ticket = one tree.
- The trees are quite consistent this year, there are a few in the 6-9 foot range and there will be heaps in the 4-5 foot range. But as always, it’s first in best dressed.
- Please observe the specific Covid-19 rules at the farm, use sanitiser and stick to 1.5m of physical distance from your fellow tree-lovers. We really appreciate your cooperation.
- And due to all of the above, we wont be holding one big open day and market this year unfortunately.
Covid-19, what to expect
We’re all getting used to Covid-19 restrictions now, but here’s what you can expect at our farm gate this year:
- Either, look out for a farm-helper at the gate for parking instructions, or if you arrive at a quieter time, take it slowly on the driveway and follow the signs to find a park.
- It’s important that everyone respects a 1.5m physical distance from the next party if there is a line up. And there’ll be hand-sanitiser at the counter.
- At the farm gate we’ll welcome ticket holders in to the farm as we have done in previous years.
- From here, you’ll wander the trees with a measuring stick, choose your favourite tree, hail down a farm-helper with a saw to cut down your tree, take an ‘elfie, and head back to the farm gate.
- As it was on the way in, it’s important that everyone respects a 1.5m physical distance from the next party if there is a line up to cash out.
- We’ll measure your tree, and your ticket price will be taken off your tree price. Click here for tree pricing info.
- Be sure bring an old sheet/tarp, tie-downs or rope to secure your tree to your car, and you’re away!
- You can find tree care instructions here for when you return home.
